At METRON, our commitment to the security of our customers' energy data continues to grow.
We are particularly proud to announce the renewal of our SOC 2 type 2 certification. This certification is more than just a label. It represents our ongoing dedication to maintaining optimum operational efficiency in our digital approach to energy data management. More importantly, it attests to the robustness of the security measures we have implemented to ensure unwavering protection of our customers' data. It's a promise of trust and reliability, reaffirming our leading position in the protection of vital energy information.
Obtaining this certification is a guarantee of trust and quality of service.
METRON had to undergo a rigorous audit by an independent third party, assessing the company's internal processes and controls.
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), our SOC 2 type 2 certification covers the full range of possible issues, namely five criteria:
1. Security
This criterion concerns the protection of system resources against unauthorized access. In other words, systems and information are protected against risks that could compromise the company's integrity and the achievement of its objectives.
2. Availability
This principle refers to the accessibility of the system, products or services.
3. Processing
integrity The purpose of this index is to determine whether or not a system achieves its objective. It must be able to provide reliable data, i.e. the right data, at the right price, at the right time.
4. Confidentiality
Data (such as sensitive financial information, business plans, intellectual property) is considered confidential. Access and disclosure are restricted to authorized company personnel.
5. Privacy
This last criterion guarantees the protection of personal information. Offering our customers a high-security digital solution is one of our top priorities. To find out more about METRON's cybersecurity maturity, visit cyber.metron.energy.
